For example, a Mage will start out with a small amount of Magic and MP, while a Warrior will start off with small amounts of Strength and Defense. To further make a point about the uselessness of your initial class when you pick a class initially, the only permanent effect it has is on your first few skill points. To reassign stat/skill points requires a Pay-vault item which costs tickets. So if you chose a class at the start and want to change, all you have to do is change your equipment and weapons and reassign stat/skill points as needed.
